How quickly will I get the download email after buying
Usually within a few minutes In all cases to date, there has only been a delay in the email download when a customer has given an incorrect or out of date email address. In some cases the download email has been put in the junk email folder. So check out your SPAM folder before contacting us. If you pay through paypal by an e-cheques there can be a delay of up to a week before it is cleared and you get the email
When paying for the qts packs, do I need to sign up for paypal?
We use Paypal because it is secure, but you don't need a paypal account to pay. The screen below shows the options you have. If you have a paypal Account, just log in. Otherwise just pay with a credit or debit card. Don't forget to add your correct email address. Simple.
Is the download email and download page complicated?
No, the email just contains some instructions and a link that you click on. The download page is a webpage like that below. Notice that it is a Maths Made Easy page which is our sister website.
What do I do with a zipped file?
A zipped file is a way of compressing several files (documents, videos etc) into one file. To extract the files within, simply double click the zipped file. A program will start and a screen like that below will appear. Just select 'extract all files' to save the seperate files. This is a normal feature within microsoft Windows. (See below for a Mac).Download this sample to check you can unzip. If nothing happens when you double click you may not have a unzip program - just download a free unzip program from the internet.
Check sizes of unzipped mental maths files:
 Files for on-screen pack

I 'm on Vista and having trouble unzipping the file
Follow this process:
- Find the zip file.
- Right click the file and choose "Open With". If a sub-menu appears, please click "Choose Default Program…"
- Click "Browse…" button. Browse to "C:\Windows" folder.
- Find the file "explorer.exe" (it sometimes will show as "explorer") and click "Open".
- Make "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file" selected and click "OK".
Does it download quickly?
At average broadband speeds (2MB) it takes between 5 - 10 minutes for the mental arithmetic pack (44MB) and less than one minute for the on-screen questions pack (1MB). If the line 'drops out' for any reason, you will get an incomplete pack and the unzip program will give an error message(....Microsoft cannot open this file because some parts are missing or invalid.) In this case be patient and try downloading again.
What programs do I need to see these packs?
The mental arithmetic pack needs windows media player, part of microsoft Windows. Double click on the files in this pack and the program will start automatically. Download this sample to check you have it.
The statistics and applying general arithmetic pack needs powerpoint, part of windowes office. Double click on the files in this pack and it will start automatically. Then select slide show, view show.
I have a Mac - can I read this stuff?
Yes. You will need an unzip program. You may have one already: check if you can unzip this sample. If not download a free unzip program from the internet.
